"Extinction Club" Short Sleeved Tshirt

Try as we might, we will never shed our proclivity for playing the fool. It's the thread that both ties us together in humanity and shreds us apart at the seams. It's the force that summons invention through sheer accident and sends creatures, fellow humans and otherwise, careening to the grave. The road of foolishness is the road we all traverse, whether we think ourselves above folly or at one with the whims of our species.

Only time will tell where that road may lead, but the bones of the psychopomps that pave the way might offer us a word of warning as to our ultimate fate.

“Extinction Club” is inspired by the tarot major arcana “The Fool”. It features one of my favorite patron saints of extinction, the dodo, setting out on a journey into the perilous unknown. Below it is another psychopomp of extinction, a thylacine skull in place of the card's traditional dog, open and waiting like the maw of a bear trap. Boughs of strychnine and ricin, bitter and toxic herbs of resistance, wind around the dodo as if to shield it from the inevitable, even as its threads become undone.

These soft short sleeved tees feature designs on both the front and sleeve, and are printed by the artist in bone white ink on oxblood Bella + Canvas unisex tees. Perfectly stylish for getting up to good frivolity.

Unisex sizing, size down for a more fitted look. Due to the shirts' hand-printed nature, there may be slight print variations between shirts. Each one is one of a kind and unique, just like the wearer.
