"Cemetery Plodder" Art Print

$20.00

Stranger things have crawled forth from the bayou. This shirt was inspired by an eclectic pinch of Baba Yaga folklore from my Slavic heritage as well as my undying love for New Orleans and its unique historical funerary practices. Were an enchanted oven crypt to uproot itself to plod across the swampy earth, it would only make sense for it to take up a pair of gator legs and enlist corpse-scavenging crayfish as its white, red and black riders. After all, before the shelter of the oven crypts, the crayfish were the sacred undertakers returning the dead to the living through the aperitive ritual of nourishment. Think about that the next time you tuck into that étouffée.

This is an 8" x 10" print on 100lb uncoated cardstock. Your print is signed and stamped on the back, and will ship in an acid-free cellophane sleeve for added protection.
